Todd Hoffard joins the Temple staff for his first season in Cherry and White. A 1994 graduate of Hartwick College where he was a standout goalkeeper, Hoffard brings with him a great deal of coaching and playing experience.
A first round draft pick of the Harrisburg Heat of the NPSL in 1995, Hoffard spent eight years in the professional circuit, and was voted to the NPSL Rookie All-Star team in 1995. During his playing days, he also spent time coaching at the collegiate level. In 1996 he was an assistant coach with Elizabethtown College before moving to St. Bonaventure University women's program in 1998. After spending two years with the Bonnies, Hoffard helped lead them to the school's first A-10 Tournament berth.
In 1999, Hoffard became the goalkeeper coach for Oneonta State University and then moved on to be an assistant coach with the College of Charleston women's soccer team. In 2003, he moved to the Philadelphia area to serve as the goalkeeper coach for Penn's men's and women's soccer teams.
Outside of coaching, Hoffard also founded ONE on ONE Soccer, now in its 16th year of business.
