Brian Ginn, a trusted assistant for K.C. Keeler during his entire time at Delaware, was Keeler’s first coaching hire when taking the Temple head coaching job.

Ginn, a former Blue Hen standout quarterback and 1999 team captain, spent 18 seasons with the Delaware staff. He served in a variety of roles on the UD staff following his graduation in 2000.
He served as running backs coach (2002-05), receivers coach (2006-07, 2009-13), quarterbacks coach (2008, 2014-15), and tight ends coach (2016-17). Ginn also was Delaware's offensive coordinator for Keeler in 2008 and served as passing game coordinator in 2009-12.

Hired by the Bears in 2018 as offensive quality control, a position held for two seasons before transitioning to special teams. The Bears 2020 special teams unit was ranked seventh in the NFL by Pro Football Focus and improved to sixth in 2021. He was hired by Bears head coach Matt Nagy, a former teammate at Delaware and currently the offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs.

During his 23 seasons affiliated with the Delaware football program as a player and coach, Ginn was a part of teams that posted 17 winning seasons, captured five conference titles, been named Lambert Cup champions six times, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in eight seasons. He played a big part in helping Delaware win the NCAA national title in 2003 and make title game appearances in 2007 and 2010 under Keeler.

A four-year standout quarterback for the Blue Hens under Hall of Famer Tubby Raymond, Ginn earned his degree in consumer economics from Delaware in 2000.

The Yorktown, Va., native resides in Newark with his wife, Rachele, their twin daughters, Addison and Riley, and son, Brayden.
