Tia Withers joined Temple Athletics as the Coordinator of Leadership Operations in May 2022. She has since been promoted to Manager of Leadership Operations and currently serves on the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to her current role, she was the Executive Assistant to the Head Football Coach at Florida International University (FIU) from 2018 to 2022.
At FIU, Withers managed the calendar and schedule for Head Coach Butch Davis, and coordinated all staff and team meetings within the football program. She also organized all recruiting-related travel for Coach Davis and oversaw related expenses and reimbursements. Additionally, she played a key role in maintaining the team’s depth chart and recruiting personnel board for the coaching and recruiting staff.
Withers earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama in May 2018. As an undergraduate, she served as a student assistant with the Alabama football program, supporting both recruiting and operations. She completed her master’s degree in Sports Management at FIU and is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Finance at Temple University.
