Moore Named To The 1999 ABCA All-East Region Second Team

PHILADELPHIA (June 8, 1999) -- Temple pitcher Peter Moore was named to the American Baseball

Coaches Association East Region second team. The award is presented to

the top collegiate baseball players on the east coast.

A native of Hatboro, Pa., Moore finished the 1999 season as the Owls' top

pitcher and was named the Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Year. He finished the

season 5-6 and led the team in ERA (1.94), strikeouts (103), complete games

(10) and saves (8).

Moore, a senior, finished his Temple career by setting Temple records in

career strikeouts (405), most games pitched (84), most complete games (26),

most shutouts (5), most saves (14) and most innings pitched (389).
