Philadelphia, Pa. -- The Temple University Department of Intercollegiate

Athletics today announced the starting times for the next two Owls'

football games. The starting time for the Owls' game against Virginia

Tech on Saturday, October 7 has moved from a 1:00 p.m. start to a 12

noon start. The starting time for the Rutgers game on Saturday, October

14 has been set at 6:00 p.m.

The Virginia Tech game will be televised either on ESPN2 nationally or

on Comcast Sportsnet locally. A decision will not be made until later in

the week as to which outlet will broadcast the game, due to the Major

League Baseball playoff picture. The Rutgers game will be televised

locally on CN8.

The Owls have appeared on television five times already this season.

Adding the Virginia Tech and Rutgers games to the list means that the

first seven of the Owls 11 games this season will have been aired on

television. The first two games of the season, Navy and Maryland, were

on Comcast Sportsnet. The next three games, Bowling Green, Eastern

Michigan and West Virginia, aired on CN8. Television broadcasts of

Temple's final four games is yet to be determined.
