Men's Soccer Drops Another Heartbreaker

PHILADELPHIA - For the second time in three days, the Temple men's soccer squad lost a 1-0 heartbreaker in overtime. Today (10-8-00), the loss came at the hands of Atlantic 10 rival University of Massachusetts.

The first 90 minutes remained scoreless as Temple goalkeeper Drew Moser (Collegville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) made 11 saves.

However, less than eight minutes into the extra period Massachusetts forward Obie Gravely (Richmond, Va./Monacan) took a pass from defender Patrick Beattie (Mobile, Ala./McGill-Toolen) and found the back of the net on a bicycle kick at 98:56.

The Owls fall to 1-9-0 overall and 0-4-0 in the Atlantic 10. The Owls travel to Xavier Friday evening to face the Musketeers at 7:00 p.m.
