Fencers Compete in NCAA Regional Championship

Philadelphia, Pa.-- The Temple fencing team competed in the Mid-Atlantic/South Region Championships this past weekend at Penn
State.
Junior Jaime Beecher landed eight place in the foil competition along with junior Gina DeIeso in 10th place and sophomore
Stefanie Izzolino in 14th place.
In the epee competition, junior Marta Knight finished in 18th place along with sophomore Julia
Korony in 19th place and senior Erica Wilder in 22nd place. In the sabre event, junior Nicole Macomber ended with a 17th place
finish and sophomore Sara Ironman finished in 20th place.
