Fencers Qualify For NCAA Championships

Philadelphia, Pa. (Mar. 20) - For the second year in a row, Temple's fencing team has the maximum number of fencers qualifying for the

NCAA Championships which will be held at Stanford University on Thursday and Friday, March 23 and 24th.

Junior Jaime Beecher qualified for the foil championship after landing a eighth place finish in the regional competition.

Sophomore Julia Korony also qualified for the epee competition with a 19th place finish in the regional while senior Gina DeIeso

qualified for the foil competition after a 10th place finish in regionals.
