Calif.) pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn his eighth save of the season, breaking the program's season record.
Princeton (20-14) scored three runs in the third inning and made the lead stand up. Tim Phillips (Jr., Audubon, Pa.) hit a one-out double to left centerfield and advanced to third on a
wild pitch before scoring on a double by Jon Watterson (Jr., Keene, N.H.). Watterson also advanced to third on a wild pitch before being hit in on an RBI single by Andrew Hanson

singled. Krance was thrown out at second to end the inning.
Boran got an RBI when he scored Phillips with a single in the seventh inning for Princeton's final run.
Temple (14-24-3) got its only run off of starting pitcher Nick Pappas (So., Metiaire, La.) in the fifth inning. The Owl's leading hitter Rob Cucinotta grounded into a double play to score
Mike Jenkins. Pappas earned his first career win and evened his record at 1-1 with five innings of work, three hits, and five walks. Boehle worked a perfect ninth inning for the record
breaking save, surpassing Mike Fiala who set the record in 1985 and Jeff Golden who tied the mark last season.
Krance was 2 for 4 with an RBI on the day and bumped his season batting average up to .397. Boran was 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI. Phillips had a hit and scored two runs.
Princeton travels to Cornell on Friday for a doubleheader with the Big Red, needing only one win to clinch the Gehrig Division for the fifth straight season. The two teams will play
