Philadelphia (May 13) - Temple oarsmen captured their 12th straight Dad Vail

Regatta championship May 13 on the Schuylkill River. The Owls

finished with a time of 5:43.68, one boat length ahead of Dowling (5:46.88).

Other participants in the final were Michigan (5:53.19), Marietta (5:55.32),

St. Joseph's (5:58.92) and Purdue (6:04.61).

Temple men's novice four finished third with a time of 6:46.25.
