PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's volleyball team (12-5, 4-3) defeated Pace University three games to none on Friday night, October 12, 2001 at McGonigle Hall. The game scores were 30-21, 30-12, 30-19.

The Owls were led by sophomore outside hitter Yamit Haba with 13 kills and eight digs and sophomore outside hitter Shu Liu with nine kills and four digs. Setter Solana Lee had 21 assists.

The Pace Setters were led by sophomore Andreea Cotoranu with 13 kills and four digs. Setter Lavinia Macovschi had 17 assists on the night.

The Owls face Fordham University on October 13, 2001 at 4:00 p.m.
