PHILADELPHIA-- The Temple women's volleyball team (13-5, 5-3) defeated the Fordham Rams three games to none in a hard fought match on Saturday afternoon, October 13, 2001. The games scores were 30-20, 31-29, and 30-27.

The Owls were led by sophomore outside hitters Yun Xi with 17 kills and 12 digs and Yamit Haba with 13 kills and 16 digs. Fellow outside hitter Shu Liu contributed 10 kills and 11 digs. Junior setter Solana Lee registered 44 assists in the game.

Fordham was led by junior outside hitter Beth Crockett who had 12 kills and five digs and junior setter Kristyn Daly with 26 assists.

The Owls go on the road to face Massachusetts on October 19, 2001. Game time is at 7:00 p.m.
