OWLS BUTT HEADS WITH RAMS

10.21.01 | Women's Volleyball

Providence, R.I. -- The Temple volleyball team (14-6, 6-4) suffered its fourth conference loss of the season with a three games to one loss to Rhode Island on Saturday, October 20. The game scores were 28-30, 33-31, 32-34 and 30-32 as the Owls wasted three furious comebacks in an exciting match.

Sophomores Yamit Haba (11 kills, 22 digs) and Yun Xu (16 kills) led the Owls attack. Temple overcame leads and battled back in all four games but only managed to win one game.

Yolanda Bogacz led the Rams with a match-high 20 kills and added 13 digs for the home team.
