SCHEDULE SET FOR THE 22ND ANNUAL TEMPLE OPEN

10.24.01 | Women's Fencing

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University women's fencing team will be hosting the 22nd annual Temple Open on November 3 and 4, 2001 at McGonigle Hall in Philadelphia, Pa. The Temple Open will be a six-weapon event consisting of Foil, Epee and Sabre for both men and women undergraduate students from across the country.

The following is the schedule of events for both days:

Saturday, Nov. 3rd/Check-in

Women's Foil: 7:30-8:00 a.m.

Women's Epee: 9:30-10:00 a.m.

Women's Sabre: 1:00-1:30 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 4th/Check-in

*Men's Epee: 7:30-8:00 a.m.

*Men's Foil: 8:30-9:00 a.m.

*Men's Sabre: 12:00-12:30 p.m.

* Please note weapon change and times

The format for the meet will be the Brazilian Method, which entitles every fencer to two rounds of fencing as well as a minimum of one direct elimination match.
