TEMPLE SWEEPS PAST VILLANOVA

Sophomores Yun Xu (16 kills, six digs) and Yamit Haba (11 kills, 12 digs) led the Temple attack. Xu hit a phenomenal .483 for home team as the Owls dominated the play throughout. Junior setter Solana Lee dished out 32 assists in the match to raise her season total to a career-high 994.
Leah Matthews (six kills, seven digs) and Dana Jones (five kills) led Villanova while Jenn Badran- Grycan had 20 assists for the visitors.
The Owls continue their homestand with two key conference matches this weekend. On Friday, November 2, Temple takes on Atlantic 10 Conference leader Dayton at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, November 3, Xavier, the second-ranked team in the conference, comes to town for a match beginning at 4:00 p.m. Both matches will be played at the Liacouras Center.
