Baseball Owls Let One Get Away

GAME # 16 - MARCH 20, 2001 vs. DELAWARE
The Delaware Blue Hens (10-5) erupted for five runs in the ninth inning to
break open a close game and hand the Owls (1-15) their first loss at Erny
Field.
Three Owl errors led to five unearned runs and proved costly. Tough luck
loser, Greg Powell (0-4), went six-plus innings allowing just two unearned
runs while suffering the loss.
The Owls could manage just two singles against Vic Sage (1-2), who pitched
his first complete game of the season.
