Skip Wilson's club is still searching for their first victory of the season
after Cal State Northridge (11-6) beat the Owls (0-12) in an afternoon contest
out west at Matador Field.
GAME # 12 - MARCH 8, 2001
The big inning once again loomed large as a four-run first by Cal State
Northridge (11-6) led to an 8-2 victory over the Temple Owls (0-12).
The Owls could muster little offense outside a two-run third inning and
suffered their 12-straight loss.
John Quigley (0-1), who started his first game of the year, took the loss
for the Owls while Bill Murphy (4-0) got credit for the victory for the
Matadors,
