MEN'S CREW FINISHES STRONG AT HEAD OF THE SCHUYLKILL REGATTA

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University men's crew had a strong showing at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, October 27, 2001.

The Varsity 8 had a fourth place finish in the Championship Eights race with a time of 12:46.49. The Owls finished only 26.87 seconds behind the race winner, the Princeton Training Center.

In novice action, the Owls Frosh/Novice Fours with Cox finished third behind Georgetown and Penn with a time of 16:17.40 while the Frosh/Novice Eight placed 11th with a time of 14:15.91.

Next up for the Owls is the Princeton Chase, tomorrow October 28, 2001.
