TEMPLE'S XU YUN "THREE-PEATS" AS ATLANTIC 10 VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA -- Junior outside hitter Xu Yun of the Temple volleyball team picked up her third consecutive Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honor for leading Temple to a 3-0 record this past week. The Owls are undefeated in conference action with a 7-0 record. Yun posted a .456 hitting percentage with 53 kills in 100 swings. She recorded two double-doubles and helped the Owls dominate their three home matches this past week. She led Temple in wins over William & Mary (3-0 on October 14) and conference contenders Dayton (3-0 on October 18) and Xavier (3-1 on October 19) to raise the Owls' record to 16-5 overall.

Temple has won nine matches in a row and will next play a road match against cross-town conference rival La Salle on October 22. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
