MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD COMPETE AT RALEIGH RELAYS

In women's action, freshman Jaweia Campbell and Jessica Dunston took 22nd and 23rd place in the 200 meter hurldes with times of 14.66 and 14.72 respectively. Fellow freshman Rachel Clinton was not far behind placing 28th with a time of 14.88. In the 400 meter dash, Samantha Porter tok 21st place with a time of 56.76 and junior Marirose Roach placed 90th with a time of 1:00.61. In the triple jump, Ashley Holiday took 26th place with a distance of 11.25 merters. Temple women took 17th place in the 4X800 meters with a time of 9.23.76 and 18th place in the 1600 sprint medley with a time of 4:09.65.
For the men, freshman Andrew Sterling was the Owls top finisher with a time of 10.82 in the 100 meter dash. In the 100 meter hurdles, freshman Jonathon Albright finished 45th with a time of 15.33 and junior Tracy Champion placed 60th with a time of 15.80. In the 400 meter dash, Bryant Adams placed 50th with a time of 49.42 while Dale Letterlough placed 59th with a time of 49.71 and Otis Hudson placed 90th with a time of 51.03. Robert Leite-Young and Dwayne Shaw competed in the long jump with distances of 6.99 meters and 6.15 meters repsectively. In relay action, the men took 29th place in the 4X100 with a time of 42.63, 27th in the 4X200 with a time of 1:29.54 and 26th place in the 4X400 with a time of 3:17.50.
Next up for the Owls is the Penn Invitational on April 6 and 7 at the University of Pennsylvania.
