PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Gabe Pickett was the lone competitor for Temple men's track & field on the final day of the IC4A Championships, as he placed 17th in the triple jump.
Pickett's jump of 14.22 meters was well short of his best of the season, 15.16 meters at the American Athletic Conference Championships. That mark placed him in the top 48 in the nation, but he will now await the release of NCAA East Regon Preliminary qualifiers which is coming on Tuesday, May 20.
The Owls have one sure qualifier in junior Matt Kacyon, who took third place this weekend in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
