DREXEL BECOMES NEW BASEBALL OPPONENT IN LIBERTY BELL SEMIS

The Temple baseball team's opponent in the semifinal round of the 2002 Liberty Bell Classic has been changed from St. Joseph's to Drexel, it was announced today by the tournament organizer. The Owls-Dragons game is slated for a 3 p.m. start tomorrow at Veterans Stadium.
Temple (6-11), a 10-6 winner over Lehigh in last Wednesday's quarterfinal round, will face a Drexel (10-16) nine that advanced to the semis with an 11-3 win over La Salle on Mar. 26. Should the Owls win, they will play the winner of a game between St. Joseph's and Delaware for the Liberty Bell Classic title on either Mar. 16 or 17 (time TBA) at the Vet.
