MIKE CARON EARNS A-10 PITCHER OF THE WEEK HONORS

Philadelphia- Temple junior pitcher Mike Caron earned the Atlantic 10 Conference Pitcher of the Week honors.Caron allowed four hits, fanned five and allowed just one walk in en route to registering a complete-game shutout in Temple's 7-0 win over Massachusetts on Sunday.

Caron (Yardley,Pa./Pennsbury) recorded his third complete game of the season. He also leads the Owls in ERA (3.65) and innings pitched (61.2).

Temple (14-19, 7-8) currently in second place in the Atlantic 10 Conference East Division will next host Drexel at 3:30 p.m on Tuesday at Erny Field.
