MEN'S TRACK FINISHES SEVENTH AT THE ATLANTIC 10 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Kingston, R.I. -- The Temple University men's track team finished in seventh place with 63 points this past weekend at the Atlantic 10 Championships held this past weekend, May 3 and 4 in Kingtson, Rhode Island.

Junior Bryant Adams was one of the top performers for the Owls after placing first in the 400 meter dash with a time of 48.42. Other key contributors include freshman Andrew Sterling who placed fourth in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes with times of 22.07 and 10.88 respectively, and freshman Jon Albright who placed third in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.80.

The men's relays teams brought homea fifth place finish in the 4X100 with a time of 43.01 and a third place finish in the 4X400 with a time of 3:17.38.

In jumps, Craig Henry placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 14.61 meters and 14th in the long jump with a distance of 6.21 meters. Fellow triple jumper Robert Leite-Young placed fourth with a distance of 14.43 meters.
