MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD PLACE NINTH AT ALBANY INVITATIONAL

PHILADELPHIA -- With a combined score of 24.50, the Temple University Men's Track and Field team placed ninth at the Albany Invitational held in New York City at the 168th Street Armory.
Freshman William Fisher started the Owls out on the right foot with a third place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.46. Captain Bryant Adams competed in the 500 meter run and placed seventh with a time of 1:05.63.
In the jumps, senior Robert Leite Young placed third with a distance of 6.68 meters while freshman Steven Johnson finished just behind him in fourth place with a distance of 6.65 meters. Craig Henry rounded out the long jumpers with an eighth place finish and a core of 6.37 meters. Leite-Young also competed in the triple jump and placed eighth with a distance of 13.48 meters.
The Owls concluded the day by placing fifth in the 4X400 with a time of 3:21.23.
