MAJEWSKA EARNS ATLANTIC 10 VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

PHILADELPHIA - Senior outside hitter Margaret Majewska was named the Atlantic 10 Volleyball Player of the Week, it was announced on October 13. Majewska helped the Owls post a 2-0 record on the week after leading them to a 3-1 win over Rhode Island on Oct. 10 and a 3-0 sweep on Fordham on Oct. 11. The Brampton, Ontario native hit an impressive .434 on the week, averaging 3.7 kills and 3.0 digs. She had a double-double versus URI with 15 kills and 16 digs while adding seven blocks. Majewska had 11 kills versus Fordham and was one of only two Owls to post double-digit kill numbers in three games against the Rams. This is her first ever Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honor and the first of the season for Temple.
