BASEBALL DOUBLEHEADER AT GEORGE WASHINGTON RAINED OUT

The doubleheader between the Temple Owls and the George Washington Colonials was rained out this afternoon. Both teams hope the weather clears for tomorrow as the doubleheader has been moved to Sunday afternoon with the first pitch slated for 12:00 p.m.

The single game scheduled for Sunday will be moved to Monday if the doubleheader can be played tomorrow.

The forecast doesn't look good for the three- game set. Rain is forecast for the rest of the day on Saturday and continuing through the day on Sunday.

Should rain force the postponement of Sunday's games, the two teams will atttempt to play a doubleheader on Monday.

The Owls are scheduled to return home for a second round game in the Liberty Bell Classic on Tuesday against the Penn Quakers at Veterans Stadium at 3:00 p.m.
