OWLS AND HAWKS MEET FOR LIBERTY BELL CLASSIC TITLE

The Temple Owls (5-13) and Saint Joseph's Hawks (6-14) will meet tonight (Wednesday) at Veterans Stadium for the 2003 Liberty Bell Classic title.

The Owls moved on to the finals with a 7-4 win over Penn while Saint Joseph's beat the 2002 defending champion Delaware Blue Hens, 7-1, to get to the title game.

Tickets can be purchased for $5.00 and can be redeemed for a General Admission ticket to the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves series on April 8, 9 and 10.

The game will be broadcast on the Saint Joseph's Radio Network but will be joined in progress at approximatedly 8:15 p.m. on WPWA, 1590-AM.

For all fans attending tonight's championship game, the Philadelphia 76'ers have a home game tonight at the First Union CoreStates Center with tipoff at 7:00 p.m. against the Chicago Bulls so arrive early.
