WEATHER CANCELS HOME BASEBALL GAME ON WEDNESDAY AGAINST DREXEL

Once again bad weather in the northeast has cancelled the Temple baseball home game scheduled on Wednesday against Drexel.

The Owls have had 13 games cancelled or postponed in 2003. They had two games washed out down south, in addition to 11 games cancelled or postponed here in the Delaware Valley.

The Owls (9-13, 3-3) are currently riding a season-high seven-game winning streak that began back on March 25th with a 7-6 over Villanova in the first round of the 2003 Liberty Bell Classic.

Since then, the Owls won their third Liberty Bell Classic Championship and have evened their record at 3-3 in A-10 conference play.

Skip Wilson's club hopes to get back on the diamond this weekend with a three-game series scheduled at Saint Joseph's. The two teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 12 Noon with a single game to follow at Noon on Sunday.
