OWLS SEASON ENDS WITH DOUBLEHEADER LOSS TO RHODE ISLAND

The Temple Owls baseball team ended the season with a doubleheader loss at the hands of the Rhode Island Rams at Erny Field on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls lost lost the first game, 15-1, after trailing 2-1 through four innings. The Rams went one to score six runs in the fifth inning and five runs in the sixth inning to eliminate the Owls from post season competition.
In the second game, the Owls scored three runs in the second inning to take a 3-1 lead, only to see the Rams score three runs in the fourth and fifth innings to put the game away.
Skip Wilson's club ended the season at 20-27 overall and 10-14 in Atlantic 10 competition.
