A DAY IN CENTERFIELD MARKS FINAL BASEBALL WEEKEND AT ERNY FIELD

With just an outside chance of making the Atlantic 10 Conference baseball playoffs beginning next week in Norwich, Ct., the Owls will close the books on Erny Field and look forward to their new home on the Temple University Ambler campus, located just off of Route 309 in Ambler, Pa.
The Owls will take on the University of Rhode Island in a three-game series to close out the 2003 regular season. The two teams will meet in a single game on Friday beginning at 3:30 p.m. and finish the regular season with a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The 4th & Goal club will pitch a tent in centerfield on Saturday beginning at around 10:00 a.m. All Temple fans are welcome to join in the festivities. There will be hot dogs, refreshments and of course, those "hot" peanuts fresh off the grill.
Fans attending are asked to bring something to contribute to the afternoon of comraderie and fun.
