SARA FORSYTHE FINISHES 13TH AT NORTH AMERICAN CUP

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Senior Sara Forsythe placed 13th in the Division I Women's epée competition at the USFA North American Cup this weekend to lead all Owls at the three-day event.
Senior Stephanie Sargent joined Forsythe in the epée competition, placing 55th out of 91 fencers.
Sophomore Jenna Remmert participated in two different foil events at the North American Cup competition. In a group of 97 fencers, Remmert placed 24th in the Junior Women's foil competition. In the Division I Women's foil, she finished 64th out of 91 fencers.
Senior Aziza Hassan represented the Owls in the Division I Women's sabre competition. In a group of 76 fencers, Hassan placed 27th.
Temple will next host a head-to-head meet with Fairleigh Dickinson, Drew, Rutgers and James Madison on January 25 at McGonigle Hall starting at 10 a.m.
