WOMEN'S FENCING RANKED TENTH IN NATIONAL POLL

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University women's fencing team is currently ranked 10th among division one women's fencing teams according to the first poll of the year by United States Fencing Coaches Association. At the end of the 2002-03 season, the Owls were ranked seventh among women's teams.

The Owls are coming off undefeated dual meet action. On Sunday, the Owls beat Drew, James Madison, Fairleigh Dickinson and Rutgers to sweep their first home meet of the season.

The team will next host Haverford, Stevens and Johns Hopkins at McGonigle Hall on Saturday, January 31, beginning at 11 a.m.
