THREE TEMPLE TRACK ATHLETES HONORED BY A-10

PHILADELPHIA -- The Atlantic 10 Conference honored three members of the Temple track and field teams for their performances in the season opening Jack Pyrah Invitational on Sunday. Senior Jonathan Albright and freshman Rahmel Huffman were named the A-10 Co-Performer and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for men's indoor track. Senior Rachel Clinton was honored as the A-10 Co-Performer of the Week for women's indoor track.

 

Albright won the 55m hurdles in an IC4A qualifying time of 7.65 and finished sixth in the 500m dash in a time of 1:07.80. Huffman won the high jump with a leap of 6'4 3/4" and finished ninth in the 500m dash (1:08.97). Clinton also met an ECAC standard by winning the 55m hurdles in a time of 8.12 and finished third in the 55m dash (7.43).

 

Temple returns to action on Saturday, December 11 at the Ursinus Classic.
