MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD PLACES SEVENTH AT A-10 INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

KINGSTON, R.I- Junior Jon Albright and senior Craig Henry each placed third in an event as the Temple men's track and field team placed seventh with 22 points at the Atlantic 10 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships held on Saturday afternoon. Rhode Island, the host school, won the championship with a meet record 199 points.

Albright crossed the tape in the 55-meter hurdles in 7.77 seconds for his third place finish while Henry leaped 13.94 meters to capture third in the triple jump.

Steven Johnson earned a team-high five points. Johnson placed sixth in the 200-meters (22.70) and seventh in the 55-meter dash (6.57). Dwayne Shaw, who earned sixth place in the long jump (6.66 meters) was the only other Owl to earn points in the meet.
