THREE TEMPLE FENCERS FINISH IN TOP 20 AT NCAAS

3.25.04 | Women's Fencing

WALTHAM, MASS. -- Seniors Aziza Hassan and Sara Forsythe and sophomore Jenna Remmert each placed in the top 20 during the first day of competition at the NCAA Fencing Championships.

Hassan placed 14th in the sabre competition while Forsythe placed 17th in epée action. Remmert finished the first day in 18th place in foil competition.

Overall, the Owls are tied with Wayne State University for 11th place among women's teams. The NCAA Championships, being held at Brandeis University, conclude on Friday, March 26.
