MEN'S CREW HAS STRONG SHOWING AT GW INVITATIONAL

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The men's Varsity 8 boat took second place at The George Washington University Invitational Crew Classic on Saturday. The boat finished behind first place Navy in a time of 6:05.19.
In the 2nd Varsity 8 race, Temple finished third in a time of 6:09.33. Two Temple boats made the finals of the Varsity 4 race; Temple's 'A' boat finished third (6:40.08) followed by the 'B' boat in fourth (6:42.65).
The men's team will next compete April 17-18 at the Knecht Cup, in Collingswood, N.J.
