FORSYTHE FINALIST FOR NCAA POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple University senior Sara Forsythe has been selected as a finalist for an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Forsythe was selected by the Region No. 2 Selection Committee.
Forsythe led the fencing team to a 20-6 record this season and was the Owls' captain. In her career at Temple, Forsythe qualified for the NCAA Fencing Championships each year and set a new school record for highest single-season epee winning percentage (.830) last season.
Forsythe, a member of the Honors Program, will graduate in May with a degree in Biology. She will start her graduate studies in physical therapy at Duke University in the fall.
