PHILADELPHIA, PA - The baseball game scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at Temple's Ambler Field against Rider has been postponed due to the weather.

Rain, which has played havoc with the baseball season thus far in the northeast, continues to linger leaving tomorrow's game at home against Delaware in limbo. The game is designated as the Liberty Bell Classic opening round game for both teams. The winner is to square off in the semi-finals against the winner of the La Salle vs. Villanova game. The Explorers and Wildcats played to an 11-inning scoreless tie and will play another game on Tuesday, April 20th at Villanova.

Should tomorrow's game against Delaware be postponed, the Owls will take off for Kingston, Rhode Island on Friday for a big three-game Atlantic 10 Conference series against the Rams beginning on Saturday. The teams will play a doubleheader at Noon and will follow that up with a single game on Sunday.

Rhode Island is currently leading the Eastern Division of the Atlantic 10 Conference with a 7-2 record, coming off a three-game sweep of Xavier. The Owls are currently tied for second with St. Bonaventure with a conference record of 4-2.
