LIBERTY BELL CLASSIC BASEBALL GAME WITH DELAWARE POSTPONED

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The baseball game scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at Temple's Ambler Field against Delaware has been postponed due to the weather. No makeup date has been set.

The two teams were to meet as part of the first round matchup in the 2004 Liberty Bell Classic with the winner moving on to play the winner of the La Salle versus Villanova game which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 20th at Villanova.

The Owls will return to Atlantic 10 Conference play this weekend when they travel to Kingston, Rhode Island to take on the eastern division leading Rhode Island Rams.

Rhode Island is currently leading the eastern division with a 7-2 record, coming off a three-game sweep of Xavier. The Owls, who lost two of three this past weekend to Duquesne in Pittsburgh, are currently tied for second with St. Bonaventure with a conference record of 4-2.
