PHILADELPHIA, PA - The weekend baseball series between Temple and Xavier has been postponed due to the weather and current field conditions.

The three game series will be made up on Thursday, May 20th and Friday, May 21st. On Thursday, the two teams will play a doubleheader beginning at Noon and will follow that up with a single game on Friday, May 21st.

The Owls (12-7, 3-0) hope to get back on the diamond this Tuesday when they travel down Interstate 95 to take on Towson University. First pitch is slated for 3:00 p.m.

Temple is currently riding a six-game winning streak, its longest of the season and wielding some hot bats. Both shortstop Jason Connor and leftfielder Al Raoch are hitting at a .423 clip.

Connor is on a record setting pace for runs batted in. He has 36 RBI's in 19 games. The current record is held by George Clark who knocked in 66 runs in 1985.
