CRAIG HENRY PLACES SECOND IN TRIPLE JUMP AS OWLS PLACE EIGHTH IN A-10 MEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

RICHMOND, Va.- Senior Craig Henry placed second in the triple jump as the Temple men's track team placed eighth (45.50) on the final day of the 2004 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by the University of Richmond at Sports Backer Stadium on Sunday May 2. Rhode Island won the overall team title with a score of 247.

Henry soared to a mark of 14.25 meters (46-09) for second place in the triple jump. He was the lone Owl named to the A-10 All-Conference team for his performance in the triple jump. Junior Jon Albright placed third in the 110-meter hurdles (14.63). and fourth in the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 55.00. Sophomore Steve Johnson placed fifth in the 200 meter dash (22.74) and seventh in the 100 meter dash (11.01). Senior Brian Innis sprinted to a fifth place finish in the 400 meters in a time 49.41.Temple's 4x400 meter relay team placed fifth in a time 3:20.05.
