NEWARK, DEL. - Senior outside hitter, Zhen Jia Liu had 19 kills but it was not enough as the Temple volleyball team dropped its fifth match of the season at Delaware, three games to one. The game scores were 30-26, 22-30, 14-30 and 27-30.

Freshman Yue Liu was the only other player on the Owls' roster with double figure kill numbers with 13 and added 11 digs for her third double-double in just four matches. Setter Alison Runk had 43 assists for Temple (2-5).

Colleen Walsh led a trio of double digit kill performers for the Blue Hens with a match-high 23 kills. Claire McCormack (22 kills) and Valerie Murphy (16 kills) also played well for Delaware (5-2). Setter Allison Lutz had a match-high 58 assists for the Blue Hens.

Next up for the Owls, another road test as Temple travels to American University to play in the AU Classic beginning on Friday, September 17 with a match against Albany. Match time is 5:00 p.m.
