FAIRFIELD, CONN. - The Temple volleyball team fell to 2-9 on the season with a loss to St. Louis, three games to one on September 24 at the Fairfield Fall Classic. The game scores were 24-30, 14-30, 30-23 and 29-31.
Senior outside hitter Zhen Jia Liu led the Owls with 19 kills and 14 digs. Ying Sun Ling (12 kills) and Danielle Bablich (11 kills) also had double digit kill efforts for Temple.
Aida Antanaviciute led St. Louis (6-7) with a match-high 21 kills. Sutton Lasater (12 kills) and Chrissy King (10 kills) also posted double-digit kill numbers for the Bilikens.
Play continues in the Fairfield Fall Classic as Temple takes on New Hampshire in a 1:00 p.m. match and host Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on September 25.
