REMMERT EARNS POINTS IN NAC DIV 1/JR TOURNAMENT

OVERLAND PARK, KS--Junior Jenna Remmert placed 23rd in the Division 1 women's foil competition at the NAC DIV 1/Jr. Tournament held January 14th to the 17th in Kansas. Ninety-one fencers competed in Remmert's category. Of those participants only 32 earn points.
Freshmen Samantha Myles also competed in the Division 1 women's foil competition where she tied for 89th place. Myles finished 91st in the Junior women's foil category. Emily Cross of New York City won both the Division 1 and Junior women's foil competition.
Freshman Marla Nacey finished 85th in the Division 1 women's epee competition and 73rd in the junior competition in the same weapon. Tess Finkel of New York City won the Division 1 women's epee competition and Kelley Hurley of Southern Texas won the women's epee competition in the junior category.
Sada Jacobson of Georgia won the Division 1 women's sabre competition and Rebecca Ward of Oregon won the Junior women's sabre competition.
Temple Women's Epee/Sabre Coach Bradley Baker also competed. He finished 35th out of 111 entries in the Division 1 Men's Sabre Competition.
