DUPREE GARNERS SECOND BIG 5 PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

PHILADELPHIA-Junior Candice Dupree earned her second straight Big 5 Player of the Week nomination, after scoring 42 points and grabbing 21 boards to lead the Owls to two victories last week.

Dupree scored 27 points and missed just one shot in her 24 minutes of action against Maryland-Eastern Shore on Thursday. Against Hampton, Dupree notched her fourth double-double of the year, with 15 points and 12 rebounds. The junior center shot 74% from the field for the week and leads the Owls in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocks.

Temple begins Atlantic 10 play tomorrow when they take on UMass at 7 p.m. at the Liacouras Center.
