OWLS COMPETE AT BUCKNELL AND PENN STATE

LEWISBURG, PA -- The Temple men's indoor track team traveled to Bucknell this weekend for the 8th annual Bison Open and faired well in the unscored meet. Freshman Marcos Edghill turned in a season-best performance (7.15) with a fifth place finish in the 60m dash (7.15). Sophomore Marquise Stancil also won his heat in the 400m with a time of 51.40.
Stancil also turned in the top Temple time in the 200m (23.12) while the 4x400 relay won its heat with a time of 3:32.29.
Several athletes spent the weekend in State College, Pa. for the Penn State National Invitational. Senior Jonathan Albright placed 12th in the 60m hurdles (8.24). Temple also ran the 4x400 at PSU and posted a season-best time of 3:20.77. The relay consisted of junior William Wacker, freshman Scott Facey, senior Chris Nelson and Albright.
The Owls return to action Saturday at the Hawk Games hosted by Maryland-Eastern Shore.
