MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES SIXTH AT DELAWARE

NEWARK, DE -- Temple placed three runners in the top half of the field as the men's cross country team placed sixth at the Delaware Invitational on Saturday at White Clay Creek State Park. Freshman Adin Mickle was the Owls' top finisher, completing the 8k course in a time of 28:05.31, good for 17th place. Freshman Jim Waddington (36th, 29:54.18) and junior Dave D'Adderio (38th, 29:56.73) rounded out the TU top three.
Freshman Dan Bezotsky finished 42nd in a time of 30:08.92 and senior Matt Kobialka placed 51st in 30:50.65 to complete the Temple scorers.
Delaware's P.J. Meany traversed the course in 25:41.84 to capture the individual title and help the hosts to the team victory as well. Delaware (25), outdistanced Millersville (51) and Maryland-Eastern Shore (91) for the win.
Temple completes its first season in 20 years on Saturday, October 29 at the Atlantic 10 Championships, held at Philadelphia's Belmont Plateau.
