MICKLE PACES MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY AT MONMOUTH INVITE

HOLMDEL, NJ - Freshman Adin Mickle paced the Temple contingent to a second place finish at the 11th annual Monmouth Invitational, held at Holmdel Park on Saturday. Mickle finished the five mile course in a time of 30:10, to place tenth out of 78 runners. Freshman Jim Waddington was the Owls' next finisher, placing 25th overall (30:55).
Senior Matt Kobialka (30th, 31:22), junior Dave D'Adderio (35th, 31:45), and freshman Dan Bezotsky (36th, 31:46) rounded out Temple's top five.
Monmouth claimed five of the top five finishes, as Larry Schau finished first, covering the course in 28:45.
Temple returns to action this weekend at the Delaware Invitational, its final tune-up before the Atlantic 10 Championship on October 29 at Philadelphia's Belmont Plateau.
