VOLLEYBALL EASILY DEFEATS MARYLAND-EASTERN SHORE, 3-0

BROOKLYN, NY- The Temple volleyball team easily defeated Maryland-Eastern Shore, 3-0, on Saturday at LIU's Blackbird Invitational.  The Owls topped UMES, 30-8, 30-17 and 30-19.

Patricia Vernon and Christina DeMarco led Temple with 11 and 10 kills, respectively, while Ying Sun Ling led in digs with 14.  DeMarco had no errors for a .769 hitting percentage.  Maira Mogollon dished 20 assists on the evening.

Temple finishes competition with a match against host LIU this evening.
